A Place to Shine Speaker Academy hosts dynamic and supportive classes and monthly practice groups for speakers, leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting your journey, this group provides a safe space to hone your public speaking skills, build confidence, and connect with like-minded individuals.
I have always been a teacher at heart and that calling drives everything I do. Helping clients build confidence to step out of their comfort zones and do things they never thought they could has always brought me the most joy. In many ways, it has been my life’s work.
Fear of public speaking, also known as glossophobia, is one of the most common fears people have. Over the past 30+ years, I have stepped in front of audiences of 1 to over 35,000. I have managed and learned to overcome my fears as a performer, speaker, emcee and facilitator and I have helped hundreds of clients do the same. I love to help people “SHINE.”
I didn't do it alone. I had training and support from acting coaches, voice coaches, business coaches, directors, and amazing mentors. I also got on stage… a lot. I got better every time I did. I want to provide that same kind of support to you.
